In-Person Sessions

1) Face Masks At our central location for in-person sessions, if you are immunocompromised or prefer to wear a face mask for your comfort, please inform your practitioner. Your practitioner will be happy to wear a medical-grade mask.

2) A Screening Survey will be automatically emailed to you 48 hours before your appointment (for in-person sessions) and must be completed at least 24 hrs before each treatment.

3) If you are unwell or feeling even slightly sick, please call or email to cancel your appointment. (There will be no charge if your appointment needs to be cancelled due to illness). Email: admin@petersenwellnessclinic.com

Patricia is a registered clinical counsellor (RCC) and is currently working with her clinical supervisor toward her registration as a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP).
Patricia uses somatically-oriented therapies with an emotionally focused and attachment-based lens in sessions. She works from an anti-oppressive and anti-racist framework.
Patricia offers support for individuals and couples. She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and identities who face various forms of oppression and struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and personal and collective grief.

Patricia is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology. She retired as an acupuncturist after over 14 years in practice. She has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds and identities who face various forms of oppression, racism and those who struggle with family dynamics. Hence, she knows how important it is to ground any therapeutic work in an understanding of how systems impact our daily lives.

Over the years, she has helped clients dealing with many complex lived experiences, including anxiety, depression, personal and collective grief, loss, fertility issues, challenging family dynamics, low self-esteem and self-worth and existential concerns (and more).
